Great work guys!

honestly the best drama Australia has seen in such a long time, most police dramas in this modern day are based on nonsense its good to see we finally have one that really reflects what happens in Sydneys multicultural society.

The directing was great, casting was great and the actors were superb. Don hany and William McIness, and aaron fa'oso were awesome in their roles.

cant wait for season two

Excellent series - best drama to come out of Australia in years...
I found watching this show not only entertaining but honest and forthright in it's portrayal of modern Australian culture. Please do another series - I want to find out how my favourite characters "go forward"...
Thanks you SBS for making such a memorable and timeless classic.

Gavin's episode rating:

Gavin, from Surry Hills

Coming from experience, it's the most realistic and gripping police drama on australian tv to date. The content is contemporary and highly entertaining. The actors performed to the highest standard. Special mention to McInnes and Hany. Very look much forward to season 2, I trust there WILL BE one!

Awesome Show! Best cop show to date! Fantastic to see a real representaion of Australia. By focusing on the marginalised and bringing issues usually swept under the carpet to the forefront! Great work!

THE BEST AUSTRALIAN POLICE DRAMA IN YEARS. TOO BAD THE SERIES IS FINISHED. IS THERE A VIEW OF CONTINUING THE SERIES. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. DON HANY AND WILLIAM MCINNES WERE BRILLANT.

Great series.
I have worked for the NSW Police Service in the Radio Room, taking 000 calls and at the Police Assistance Line.
Although I haven't been a cop out on the streets to me with my experiences it seems very real and authentic.
I love the acting especially the main character who struggles to do the right thing against stereotypes and the whole system.
Am hoping to be able to see it re-run in the near future.
Great work to all involved.

Stephen's episode rating:

I always found Wildside to be extraordinary television. East West 101 was even better. The juxtopisition of Detective Melik's own pursuit of justice with those of the two women's from Bosnia and the scenes of the their confession was even more extraordinary within the context of such an extraordinary series. Perhaps sublime is the relevant adjective for the fifth episode.

What an extraordinary counterpoint to the Cronulla riots of two years ago provided by Detective Melik and his family.

Simon's episode rating:

Simon, from Blue Mountains

What a riveting series!!!

I was introduced to middle eastern people in the early 80's, when I had many 'refugees' come to my workplace. They were from varied beliefs and were all in Oz to better the chances for their families.

I worked with these people in the inner western suburbs of Sydney for 20 years and was proud to see them settle and take on roles typical of Australians.

This series, to me, was a documentary.

Well researched, well portrayed - very moving!

More please.....
